About Holt Park
Nestled in the heart of the Overlea Fullerton Community is the Holt Center, donated to Baltimore County by Lillian Holt in 1974.
The park is comprised of sixteen acres of meadow, woodland, and lawn, with landmarks such as a lily pond, garden, campfire ring, outdoor amphitheater, historic cabins, and walking trails. The Holt Center offers educational nature and art programs which are affordable or free.
The park is open every day of the year from sunrise to sunset. The Holt Center and offices are open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, as staff is available.
Holt Park is not able to rent facilities for private events. Several other county parks do have pavilions for rent.
Upcoming Events
Pre-registration is required for programs and attendance is limited. Please click the pre-registration link to reserve your spot(s) in an upcoming program. Payment (in the form of cash or check) is accepted when you arrive to sign-in for the program.
Some events, such as festivals and campfires, may list "RSVP" instead of "pre-register." These are outdoor events in which the number of attendants is less limited, but we do appreciate you signing up in advance.
If you can no longer attend, please revisit the signup page or email us to remove yourself from the list, which will allow others to sign up in that spot. If a party no-shows multiple times to programs for which they have pre-registered, they will be prevented from pre-registering for the next season.
